At the workshop, FPT Digital and the Japanese company held discussions on different topics related to their DX consulting framework, methodology and process…in order to define a “menu” of service offerings that the FDX consulting force can provide to Japanese clients. Mr. Tran Huy Bao Giang, FDX Director shared FPT’s DX Approach: FPT Digital Kaizen. Mr. Giang emphasized that: “Our approach clearly defines the roles and responsibilities of FDX and the client. It guarantees what each side is required to do. However, we’re willing and able to provide assistance to clients whenever necessary.”

In their presentation, the Japanese company representative revealed that a large number of Japanese businesses are currently interested in implementing DX and these companies have many questions that require answers. The Japanese company then presented their DX Framework which targets 8.000 of Japanese client companies. The top 5 company in Japan expressed interest in co-operating with FPT and specifically FPT Digital in order to develop a comprehensive DX roadmap from strategy to implementation.

The Japanese company expressed their interest in becoming a full-cycle DX consulting service provider similar to FPT Digital.

After the two day meeting, the two companies agreed on leveraging FPT Digital Kaizen’s 6 steps approach as the foundation of the joint DX method. But in order to better achieve the goal of serving Japanese clients and adapt to their work style, many aspects of DX concepts including their evaluation criteria, exit criteria and the Gate concept will be applied to complete the approach.
